FAQ’s

How do I make an appointment?

The easiest way to make an appointment is to send an email to: info@loraineklassentherapy.com. Make sure to include your name and a brief description of what you are hoping to work on in therapy (ie. depression/anxiety, relationships, self esteem).

How much are your rates?

My per session rate is $135 plus GST for all 50 min sessions. This cost is in line with the recommended fee structure for Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) set by the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

Payment is due at the time of session and can be processed through etransfer or Major Credit Card. I am unable to accept debit/interac.

Can I use MSP or my extended benefits plan to cover my session cost?

At this time therapy/counselling is not covered by the BC Medical Service Plan, although you may have some coverage available through your employer or extended health benefits. It is up to you to check if sessions are covered under you plan. Loraine Klassen Therapy is not able to direct bill your benefits plan, but will provide a receipt that can be submitted for reimbursement. Please pay careful attention to see that your extended benefits cover services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Loraine Klassen is not a psychologist/psychiatrist/social worker.

Where are you located?

My office is located at #330 – 2151 McCallum Rd. Abbotsford, BC.  You may know this round building as the McCallum Medical Tower.  My office is located on the third floor , and there is both stair and elevator access to the office.  I’m so happy to be sharing this space with TS Counselling Services, so you will see her name on the exterior door as well.  When you arrive for your appointment come on in and have a seat in the comfy waiting room.  I come out to greet you at your appointment time.

What if I can’t make it to my appointment?

Please let me know 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment. I will happily reschedule at another time that works better for your schedule.

Any “No Shows” to appointments will be charged at a full session fee. This must be paid before any further appointments can be made. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are also subject to the full appointment fee.
